Patience Ozokwo's Centenary Award Sparks Controversy

Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo was among those who got Mr President's awards for her contribution to the development of the country.

 

In some quarters, it was a welcome development but it didn't go down well with majority.

 

Some insinuate that of course, Patience is an actress who've come a long way but, her roles in movies are mostly geared towards teaching women how to be wicked mothers or heartless mother-in-laws.

 

In the exact words of one of those who vehemently kicked against it, she describes Patience as one who "teaches women how to be heartless voodoo loving mother in-laws".
