“You Can Leave!” EME Refuses To Renew Skales’ Contract

OnoBello

Reports making the rounds presently confirm that rapper-turned-pop star, Skales has parted his erstwhile Record label EME, after his contract expired and the label didn’t consider it a good move to offer him a new one, as they felt there wasn’t adequate returns from the previous contract to justify an extension.

Earlier in the week, it was observed that Skales had taken off EME from his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts but official confirmation has finally come, as label boss, Banky W confirmed the development in a telephone interview with thenet.ng.

The move while somewhat unexpected is not difficult to understand however, as Skales’ career has inexplicably been unable to take-off, after being signed unto the label at the same time with Wizkid who is now an African superstar.
What next for Raoul John Njeng-Njeng (Skales).
