Nigerian cuisine has finally taken a huge step in imprinting itself firmly on menus all around the globe.
The growing popularity of Nigerian food stores and restaurants has
finally made United Kingdom retail giant, Tesco to stock up on some of
the nation’s delicacies.
Jollof rice and Ofada stew are part of the crowd favourites and can now be bought from Tesco.
A pack of Jollof rice with Ofada stew is sold for £3.39 while a pack of white rice and ofada is sold for £3.99.
Each dish costs about N1000 which is relatively cheap compared to
Nigeria where a decent plate of Ofada and rice goes for about N1200 and
without as much meat as the U.K version.
